We are pleased to inform all EMME/2 users that Mrs. Diane Larin has joined INRO on September 1st to fill the post of Technical Director. She will assume responsibility for all the technical activities of INRO that include as well the support activities for EMME/2 users in North America.
In the very near future, INRO will set up an electronic mail service in order to facilitate communications with EMME/2 users. In order to help us find the communication channel that is the most accessible to the EMME/2 user's community, Diane Larin is preparing a questionnaire that will be sent to all user sites. We hope that many of you will participate in the little survey, so that your preferences will be reflected in the implementation of INRO INFO, as we shall call this e-mail service.
Good news for PC users: INRO has just announced a new pricing policy for multiple EMME/2 licences on PC based systems equipped with DSI co-processor boards. The full EMME/2 licence fee is charged for the first PC system only, whereas a 50 percent discount is offered on all subsequent licences. The discount applies for multiple licences of the same size and type (DSI-32 or DSI-780) and is restricted to the systems owned and used by the same organization.
